Heroboard
Heroboard is a service for the employees of ProntoPro. It connects the employees that have problems they are not able to solve with “Heroes” that have the skills to help them, while building interpersonal relationships.
Design Process
Background
The purpose of this project was to help ProntoPro, an Italian service company that helps customers to find local service professional, to address the emerging challenges around workplace since the pandemic.
Based on a series of investigation with the help of 4 emloyees that based both in Milan and Rome, we found out that they are pushed to learn new things independently every day by the company, while not stimulated to share knowledge with each others.

ENCOURAGE EMPLOYEES TO OFFER THEIR HELP TO THEIR PEERS AND INCREASE KNOWLEDGE SHARING?
Concept
Heroboard connects employees that have problems they are not able to solve with “Heroes” that have the skills to help them. It enables employees to offer their help when they are free, while enabling those who need help to ask for assistance without being afraid of disturbing their colleagues.
User journey
Help receiver
When you have a problem, use the Heroboard plug-in on Asana to ask a question related to your task.
Select deadline and field of competence, then send it. Your question will automatically appear on Heroboard.
When a “Hero” accepts to help, you will immediately get notified. Send your location or contact them on Slack and get ready for the meeting.
Once you solved your problem with the “Hero”, thank them and provide useful feedback by leaving a review.

Read your colleagues’ problems on the dashboard, using filters to match your skills and interests.
When you find a problem you want to solve, accept the challenge by touching the board and wait for facial recognition.
If you’re immediately available, you’ll receive your colleague’s location. Otherwise, you can ask to get contacted on Slack later.
Once you helped your colleague, you’ll be able to check out the feedback left for you.
